Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a pay range of $21.69 - $41.95 per hour and a flat-rate pay model reflecting regional work and individual productivity.

We emphasize ongoing formal training, ASE certification support, and equitable compensation practices.

Qualifications

• Brake diagnosis/repair skills
• Alignment/Steering/Suspension diagnosis and repair
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair
• Reading, writing and math abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers test fees and offers bonuses for tests passed.
