Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. The role rewards skilled professionals with flat-rate pay for each eligible task within our extensive service catalog.

The position emphasizes leadership, ongoing paid training, and a path toward ASE certifications while supporting a culture of safety and quality in a dynamic auto service environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A.S.E.) within two years; tests are paid by the company.
