Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Mansfield, OH is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor teammates, and help raise customer care and satisfaction. The role features a flat-rate pay model with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for first-time hires and a pay range of $25.13–$40.87 per hour.

You will stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training, aim to obtain ASE certifications, and contribute to a high-performance service team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Brakes diagnosis and repair skills.
• Alignment, steering and suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• A.S.E. certifications preferred (A1-A8).
• Ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years.
