Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Nashville, TN is seeking a Lead Technician who will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor a team, and drive customer care and satisfaction. The role features a flat-rate pay model with pay range $21.69-$40.92 per hour and on-the-job training.

You will stay current with automotive technology through formal training, pursue ASE certifications, and help technicians perform advanced repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair brakes, alignments, steering and suspension, and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
