Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver’s license required.
• Brakes diagnosis/repair skills.
• Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair skills.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair knowledge.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers or non-technical staff.
• Maintain current with evolving automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years of employment; test fees provided by company; bonus for tests passed.
