Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer care. The role emphasizes mentoring and continuous learning with paid training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and explaining issues to customers, and pursuing ASE certifications within two years. Compensation reflects flat-rate pay and regional earning potential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Proficient in brakes diagnosis/repair and suspension alignment.
• Experience with automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Participate in ongoing paid formal training to stay current with automotive tech.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8); tests paid by company; bonus for each passed.
