Job summary
A leading automotive service provider is seeking a Lead Technician in Bedford, Texas. This role requires diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems such as brakes and electrical. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills to mentor a team and achieve high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include providing technical diagnosis to customers and assisting fellow technicians. A valid driver's license and relevant certifications are required. Experience in the automotive field is essential, along with strong communication abilities.
Qualifications
Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair brake, exhaust, electrical, and suspension systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers.
Provide training to technicians/mechanics.
Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least five areas within two years.
