Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Austin, TX is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

This role offers a flat-rate pay model and formal training with company-funded ASE certifications. A valid driver’s license, and proficiency in brakes, alignment, and suspension are required. ASE certifications in multiple A1–A8 are preferred, with continued certification supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in brakes diagnosis/repair and suspension/steering.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
