Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is hiring a Lead Technician in Raleigh to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team to enhance customer care and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes staying current with automotive tech, pursuing ASE certifications, and delivering high-quality repairs with a flat-rate pay model. A valid driver’s license and strong communication with customers are required.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license is required.
Brakes diagnosis/repair proficiency.
Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair skills.
General automotive maintenance & tire repair knowledge.
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
Stay current with evolving automotive tech through ongoing paid training.
Assist and mentor technicians in performing technical activities.
Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
