Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team for superior customer care. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with pay ranges reflecting regional productivity and certification progress.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis and repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering and suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems).
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by company).
