Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Columbia, SC is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership to mentor a team and improve customer care.

The pay range is $29.10–$56.99 per hour with flat-rate compensation; on-the-job training, ASE certifications, and paid time off are provided. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and ongoing skill development.

Formación

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 5 years automotive repair experience or Vocational-Technical training.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 (L1 allowed as one).

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications; tests paid by company; bonuses for tests passed.
