Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Altoona, PA seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical issues while mentoring a team to boost customer care. The role uses a flat-rate pay model, with a pay range shown for the region.

You will diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, electrical and climate control systems, explain findings to customers, and pursue ASE certifications within two years, supported by company training and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing brakes and suspension systems.
• Ability to clearly communicate diagnoses and required repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests may be paid by the company.
