Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brake and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Electrical, ignition and A/C systems experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers who are not mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test fees paid by the company.
