Job summary

Firestone Complete Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, lead a team, and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Ability to adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications.
• Train and assist technicians in technical activities.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.

Skills

Brakes diagnosis/repair

Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair

General automotive maintenance

Electrical/electronic systems understanding

Engine repair

Communication to non-technical people

Education

A.S.E. certification in at least 3 of A1-A8

5 years of automotive repair experience or Vocational-Technical School Program
