Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Norwood seeks an Automotive Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a shop team. You will handle complex repairs and stay current with new technology through paid training.

The role requires ASE certifications (A1–A8 preferred) and a valid driver’s license, with a competitive pay range and a sign-on bonus for new teammates.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Experience diagnosing/repairing brake systems.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, exhaust, A/C, electrical, suspension).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers.
• Pursue paid formal training to stay current with automotive tech.
• Assist and mentor technicians in performing tasks.
• Obtain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
