Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and hands-on diagnostics.

You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training, and pursue ASE certifications. The position offers a competitive pay range, health benefits, and a supportive onboarding

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees are paid for by company).
