Big O Tires - Monteverde Group is interviewing for an Automotive Lead Service Technician in Redwood City, CA. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a team to raise customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to pass DMV proof of insurance
• 3–5 years of automotive repair experience or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 is required (new hires have up to 2 years to comply)
• Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to Manufacturer specifications
• Background in all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance including brake and hydraulic systems, diagnostics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computers
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals
• Lead the shop: perform vehicle inspections and train fellow technicians/mechanics
