Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and drive customer care and satisfaction. The position offers a flat-rate pay model with region-based earning potential and a path to ASE certifications.

You'll diagnose, repair, and mentor others while staying current with automotive tech through paid training. A valid driver's license and ASE certs are required within two years.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Strong automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Good reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company; bonus for each test passed)
