Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring automotive technicians in the Concord, NC area. The role offers a flat-rate pay structure with a sign-on bonus and a path to ASE certifications.

Expect to diagnose and repair brakes, alignment, electrical and HVAC systems, and to communicate clearly with customers and teammates. The position rewards performance with competitive pay, paid vacation and holidays, on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, a 401(k) match, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
