Job summary

Bridgestone Americas (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to join our service team in Roanoke Rapids, NC. You will learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under guidance of senior technicians, with a focus on delivering high‑quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, vehicle assessments, and customer interaction to explain repairs. The role offers a $3,000 signing bonus for state inspection certificants and a flat-rate pay

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers tests/fees and may bonus for tests passed.
