Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in Rockford, IL is seeking a Sensor Development Engineer to lead speed and position sensing product development from concept to production launch.

You will act as the technical leader for assigned programs, integrating magnetic design, sensor electronics, materials, mechanical packaging, validation, and manufacturing processes. The role requires strong understanding of automotive product development processes and hands-on experience with VR, Hall-effect, MR, rotary, and linear

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with one or more sensing technologies listed.
Understanding of electromagnetic and magnetic circuit design principles.
This is not a designer role; leads product from concept through production launch.
Must know automotive product development processes (APQP/DFMEA/PPAP).

Responsibilities

Lead development of speed and position sensing products from concept through production launch.
Serve as technical leader for assigned programs across magnetic design, sensor electronics, materials, packaging, validation, and manufacturing.
Translate customer requirements into robust sensing solutions with cross-functional collaboration to meet performance, quality, timing, and cost objectives.
