Job summary

HERTRICH Family of Automobile Dealerships is seeking an experienced Automotive Office Manager to lead our accounting office and drive operational excellence across daily processes. You will oversee payroll, reconciliations, and month-end closings while collaborating with department leaders to maintain strong internal controls.

The role requires dealership accounting experience, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to support a growing automotive group committed to integrity and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years Automotive Office Manager experience.
• Dealership experience required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, dealership systems).
• DealerTrack experience is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dealership accounting office team
• Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes
• Ensure accuracy of financial schedules and reconciliations
• Review general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payables
• Complete month-end and year-end closings on time
• Analyze income and expenses, identifying variances
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
• Collaborate with department leaders across the dealership
• Support payroll and commission processing with HR
