Job summary

NorthHill Technology is seeking an Automation Software Tester to support a Federal program in Reston, VA. The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. You will lead test strategies, build automation frameworks, and ensure QA across DoD systems.

Responsibilities include designing automated tests with Selenium/JUnit/Cypress, integrating into CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with architects and operations teams.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, procedures, and scenarios for web-based software applications.
• Ability to lead QA methodologies and ensure test coverage across complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for DoD systems.
• Mentor junior test engineers and promote QA best practices.
• Lead system validation, including performance, load, and security testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites with Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Postman, and JMeter.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Ensure traceability through requirements analysis and documentation.
