Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of ground-up custom equipment design in heavy machinery or high-speed automation.
• Expert SolidWorks modeling of large assemblies and drawings.
• Strong project management and stable employment history.
• Residency within driving radius of Brown Deer, WI; US citizen or GC holder.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up mechanical design for high-speed automated machinery and robotic cells.
• Develop concepts and collaborate with PMs to brainstorm cost-effective solutions.
• Guide internal detailers and coordinate with external fabrication partners.
• Integrate fluid power and drive systems, selecting hydraulics and servo components.
• Conduct early design reviews to ensure safety, ergonomics and compliance.
• Serve as technical contact for clients and resolve shop-floor issues in real time.
