Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Senior Automation & Robotic Cell Design Engineer to drive ground-up architecture for high-speed automation in a 100% SolidWorks environment. You will lead design integrity, coordinate internal teams, and work with external partners to deliver complex robotic cells for large OEMs.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration in the Milwaukee area, with a clear path toward senior leadership and a strong engineering feedback loop from machinists and controls engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in heavy machinery.
• Expert fluency with SolidWorks for large assemblies and final drawings.
• Practical understanding of weldments, materials, and machining tolerances.
• Proven history of on-time project delivery and strong tenure.
• Residence within commuting radius of Brown Deer, WI; US citizen or GC.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up machine architecture for high-speed automated machinery and robot work cells.
• Develop concepts and collaborate with project managers on cost-effective solutions.
• Break down design scopes into milestones and coordinate with vendors.
• Integrate fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, and servo systems.
• Conduct safety-focused design reviews before shop release.
• Interact with global clients and manage BOM releases on the assembly floor.
