Job summary

ADM in Des Moines, IA seeks a Lead Engineer for the Process Automation Project Team. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on modernization, standards, and expert automation guidance across plant operations.

You will develop and modify automation controls, support operations and the Technology Center, and standardize documentation while driving optimization and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of process control experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with DeltaV, D/3, or PlantPAx DCS applications.
• Familiarity with industrial networks and instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot control systems and work safely with AC/DC voltages up to 120V.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support for automation modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations and the Technology Center to execute projects.
• Lead governance and oversight of automation vendors.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation hardware and software.
• Coach and develop colleagues; act as technical lead for plant control modernization.
