We are partnered with an industry leading manufacturer in the Canton, OH area searching for a Lead Automation Engineer. This is a unique opportunity because our client is looking to bring someone to their team who can grow a department around them. This role will focus on programming Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC systems, while maintaining all vision systems and robotics at our clients plants located in the Greater Cleveland area. This is a Direct Hire role that offers a competitive base salary, yearly bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities:

• Program all Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Siemens PLC systems
• Work with a cross functional engineering team on Capitol equipment projects
• Install, program, and maintain all robotics across multiple internal facilities
• Develop Automation systems on new and existing machinery

Qualifications:

• B.S., Electrical Engineering or related field + 3 years relevant experience. OR Associates Degree + 5 years' experience
• Ability to work on a cross functional engineering team
• Previous PLC programming experience
• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Vision systems experience is preferred but not required
