Job summary

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Controls and Automation Technician to maintain and repair a broad range of plastics manufacturing equipment and support systems. You will perform root-cause analysis on breakdowns and drive continuous improvement with the team.

The role requires strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hydraulics and robotics, with experience in CMMS and Microsoft Office. The position is based in Clayton, MO, with night shift hours as described, and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Formal training in Electronics, Control circuitry and PLC’s or vocational, skilled trade or military training.
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and fluid power schematics and detailed drawings.
• Skilled in trades of fabrication of industrial and manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics.
• Maintain and repair PLC controls, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on industrial production and mechatronics equipment.
• Order parts and materials; work with CMMS (SAP or eMaint).
• Install, maintain and repair factory automation and robotics.
