Jobgether is seeking an Automation Architect in the United States to design and lead intelligent automation for cybersecurity and engineering efficiency. You will define strategy, set engineering standards, and guide a team of automation engineers while hands-on developing robust Python systems and AI-powered workflows.

You will collaborate with security specialists and platform owners to identify high-value automation opportunities, ensure secure, maintainable solutions, and drive improvements

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity or IT
• 5+ years in security engineering or software engineering
• Experience leading engineers or technical leads
• Strong Python programming for data processing, API development, testing, packaging
• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs including auth, pagination, retries
• Hands-on security expertise to interpret data and findings
• Cloud and application security concepts familiarity
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows and agentic automation
• Proficient in Git and collaboration in shared codebases
• Strong written communication and leadership for team development

Responsabilités

• Define automation strategy and roadmap, prioritize high-value opportunities
• Design and develop robust automation systems in Python with production quality
• Integrate enterprise platforms via REST APIs with robust error handling
• Lead AI-assisted workflow development and determine agent structure and evaluation
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, deployment, and maintainability
• Contribute to cloud security and application security initiatives through automation
• Maintain and improve existing systems, reduce technical debt, enhance reliability
• Identify process improvements and automate manual activities where appropriate
• Ensure security data and automated findings are validated with human oversight
• Manage and develop engineers, set priorities, review work, and support growth
• Assist with hiring and onboarding as automation scales
• Document architectures, decisions, and operating procedures for maintainability
