Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Automation Architect within the Security Architecture & Engineering team to own how the team automates its work. You will decide what gets automated, design the approach, and set the standards the work is built to while leading a small group of automation engineers.

You will write production-grade Python, integrate with cloud and platform systems, design AI-augmented workflows, and ensure code quality, tests, and documentation so others can extend and maintain the work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years in Cyber Security/IT.
• 5+ years of professional experience in security or software engineering.
• Experience leading engineers (direct manager or tech lead).

Responsibilities

• Own the automation architecture and roadmap for the team.
• Design and build automation in Python with platform integrations.
• Design AI-augmented workflows and keep human review in loop.
• Maintain code quality with testing, documentation, and reviews.
