Job summary

WORK Inc. seeks a Lead Community Based Day Support (CBDS) Coach to grow from a hands-on DSP role into leadership while remaining closely connected to individuals we support. You’ll coordinate day-to-day program operations, build relationships, and support skill development in the community.

You will collaborate with leadership to manage group logistics, staff coverage, and program flow, driving quality and meaningful outcomes for adults with Autism.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct support or CBDS and related settings preferred.
• Experience working with adults with Autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Prior mentoring or leadership in activities or group operations is a plus.
• Degree or equivalent experience in human services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and deliver contracted services to individuals in the Life Skills CBDS Program.
• Help individuals set personal goals and build skills for daily living, community participation, health and wellness, relationships, self-advocacy, and pre-employment readiness.
• Coordinate and manage the monthly group calendar, including tickets, transportation, and parking.
• Coordinate weekly staff schedules, day-to-day group operations, and coverage for the Life Skills CBDS team.
• Support daily program logistics, including van use, supplies, and communication of operational needs.
• Communicate proactively with leadership about scheduling, concerns, and program improvements.
• Complete required documentation timely and reinforce documentation expectations across the CBDS team.
• Coordinate with the ASD Services Case Manager to support ISP progress.
• Build positive professional relationships with individuals, families, partners, and DDS personnel.
• Advocate for independence, community engagement, and quality of life.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
