Job summary

MetLife is seeking a senior Internal Audit leader to oversee Global Security and Global Infrastructure, driving risk-based coverage of cybersecurity, IAM, threat response, and cloud/infrastructure. You will lead a team of auditors, shape the audit roadmap, and partner with CISO/CTO to translate technical risk into business insights.

You will guide assurance and advisory engagements on AI risks, ensure governance and controls for AI-enabled capabilities, and deliver timely findings while

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT audit, cybersecurity, technology risk, and/or public accounting or consulting experience.
• Deep, current knowledge of cybersecurity and infrastructure domains and standards.
• Data analytics, automation, and continuous auditing experience; knowledge of AI risks.
• Executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders clearly and succinctly.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, judgment, critical thinking, integrity, and ethics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or CIA.

Responsibilities

• Own risk assessment, audit plan, execution, issue management, and reporting for Global Security and Global Infrastructure.
• Lead assurance and advisory engagements on cyber, cloud, infrastructure, and AI risks.
• Set global audit roadmap, methodology, and testing approach for cybersecurity and infrastructure.
• Expand analytics, continuous auditing, automation, and AI-enabled tools usage.
• Build trusted relationships with CISO, CTO, and risk partners across the organization.
• Communicate risks and insights to senior technology leaders and risk committees.
• Lead and develop a team of audit professionals and foster growth.
• Deliver high-quality work across engagement lifecycle with remediation validation.
