Job summary

MetLife is seeking a senior leader to drive Internal Audit coverage for Global Security and Global Infrastructure. You will steer risk assessments, audit plans, and advisory work across cybersecurity, cloud, and AI-enabled risks, partnering with technology leaders to translate technical exposure into actionable improvements.

You will lead a team of auditors, apply analytics and continuous auditing, and ensure strict governance and SOX compliance while upholding MetLife’s ethics and risk

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT audit, cybersecurity, technology risk, and/or public accounting or consulting experience, including proven leadership of technology Internal Audit teams.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and infrastructure domains (threat detection, IAM, cloud/hybrid platforms, network, IT operations).
• Experience using data analytics, automation and continuous auditing; familiarity with AI risks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own risk assessment, audit plan, execution, issue management, and reporting for Global Security and Global Infrastructure.
• Lead assurance and advisory engagements on cyber, cloud, infrastructure, and AI risks with business impact insights.
• Set global audit roadmap, testing approach, and expand analytics and AI-enabled tools.
• Build relationships with CISO/CTO and risk partners through early, transparent engagement.
• Communicate risks and insights clearly to senior technology leaders and Audit Committee.
• Lead and develop a team of audit professionals, fostering technical depth and career growth.
• Deliver high-quality work across the engagement lifecycle, including remediation validation and compliance.
• Model MetLife’s integrity and ethics standards in all activities.
