Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience leading teams and audit engagements from planning and risk assessment through reporting and follow-up.
• Strong project management, communication, and documentation skills for audits across business lines.
• Ability to use data analytics and technology to enhance audit testing and risk coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audits by following department methodology, quality standards, and timelines.
• Evaluate key business risks and the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Plan and coordinate research, walkthroughs, testing, meetings, and milestones in TeamMate+.
• Develop understanding of business operations and industry trends to inform audits.
• Lead development of risk and control matrices and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coach audit staff and manage engagement expectations; mentor Senior Auditors.
• Present issues to business and senior management; draft clear reports and recommendations.
• Use technology and data analytics to improve testing efficiency and risk coverage.
• Complete issue follow-up and support audit quality assessments.
• Collaborate with other control groups and offer advisory services to implement improvements.
