Title: Lead AV Technician - Buffalo
Department: Operations
Reports To: Project Manager or Account Executive
Position Purpose and Objectives

This role involves leading a team of technicians in installing hardware components of audio-visual systems, ensuring all targets are met. Reporting to a Project Manager, the Lead AV Technician supports our 'Best in Class' sales and AV integration program by coordinating, receiving, inventorying, assembling, and installing AV equipment at various job sites, adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Supervising and completing AV installations independently
  • Coordinating and scheduling installation teams and travel arrangements
  • Training and overseeing technicians, supporting their certification goals
  • Handling heavy equipment and wiring, lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Troubleshooting AV equipment issues
  • Installing and terminating cables with appropriate connectors
  • Drilling for installation of projectors, screens, cameras, speakers
  • Working in confined spaces and at heights over 10ft
  • Performing other related duties
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 2-4 years of AV team leadership experience
  • CTS-I certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Background checks and physical/drug tests required
  • Strong communication, team management, and technical skills
  • Proficiency with office software and hand tools
  • Valid driver's license with minimal citations
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Managing AV technician teams and travel logistics
  • Maintaining client relationships at job sites

Compensation and Benefits
