WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Lead AV Field Technician, you will be leading a team of AV Technicians on Installation Projects. Working as part of the EOS team providing AV solutions and services on site interfacing with the designated client in line with the customer requirements and service level agreement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the Installation and de-installation of AV/Telepresence products.
  2. Configuration of endpoints and infrastructure.
  3. Preparation of room audits ensuring technology can work at optimum level.
  4. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and room is ready for use.
  5. Identify defective/failed equipment and provide solutions.
  6. Complete Post Installation Assessments.
  7. Perform on-site User Acceptance testing.
  8. Install software upgrades.
  9. Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide solutions for ongoing faults.
  10. Communicate with management team throughout the day, as it relates to assignments.
  11. Project reporting and updating.
  12. Document and report hardware failures and manage Break/Fix and RMA requests as needed.
  13. Supervise, instruct, and assist with rack building processes.
  14. Travel to customer sites nationally as required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  1. Experience leading teams of AV Technicians or Engineers.
  2. Experience terminating, configuring, and programming at least one of the following types of equipment: Extron, Cisco, Crestron, and/or AMX.
  3. Ability to read and understand plans to ensure everything is done correctly and perform any additional configuration that is required.
  4. Similar experience working on AV/VC integrations.
  5. Agile and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
  6. Responsive, efficient, with excellent customer interaction, and a high level of professionalism.
  7. Intrigued by difficult tech problems and welcoming challenges.
  8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure.
  9. Engaged in the process of technical development.
  10. Eligible, willing, and able to work and travel globally when required.
  11. Responsible and reliable, capable of working alone as well as part of a team.
  12. Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  13. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  14. Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  15. Flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer.
  16. Motivated team player.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  1. Control (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
  2. Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM).
  3. Video (Cisco, Polycom).

Pay Range: $75,000 — $90,000 USD
