Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to help run building and grounds upkeep for our resort properties in Hawaii.

You will support the Maintenance Manager, schedule tasks, coordinate with front desk and housekeeping, and ensure equipment and spaces remain safe and reliable for guests. You will bring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair experience, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

Variety of knowledge in the repair of electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, structural repair and appliance repair.
HVAC certification is required.
CPO certification or willingness to obtain is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the operations of the building and grounds maintenance department.
Communicate with other departments (e.g., front desk/housekeeping) on various issues.
Ensure overall quality and timeliness of maintenance performed both in‑house and by contracted services.
Ensure compliance of the preventative maintenance procedures within units and building systems.
Assist other maintenance technicians as requested.
