Aerotek is seeking a Lead Assembly Technician in Fremont, CA to lead daily production and mentor team members. You will operate equipment, monitor metrics, and ensure 5S standards while coordinating with supervisors to meet customer demands.

Job Title: Lead Assembly Technician Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Assembly Technician responsible for operating production equipment to meet customer demands, effectively communicating inventory needs, and driving 5S activities. This role involves collaborating with supervisors, employees, and other Line Leaders to achieve daily tasks, assist in training new employees and developing existing associates, troubleshooting production and flow problems, and completing maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

The Lead Assembly Technician will provide leadership and work direction to assigned associates, ensuring customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and quality requirements. Operations will be completed per standard work procedures and within the required cycle time. This role may require overtime, including occasional weekends, to meet production demands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
