Job summary

Axiom Staffing Group in York, PA, is seeking a Lead Assembler for a high-volume metal fabrication facility on 1st shift, 5:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Thursday with Friday overtime when needed. You will lead multi-skilled teammates, read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

The role requires hands-on leadership, problem solving, and coordination with the Plant Manager; overtime may be required and lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with blueprints.
• Ability to select proper tooling and hold parts to within close tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical maintenance.
• Detail oriented.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to quality.
• Leadership qualities: communicating with the team and Plant Manager.
• Filter questions and issues within the team.
• Work with students in our Co-Op Program.
• Measurement, mathematical and conversion skills.
• Must be able to stand 10 hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Axiom is recruiting for a position in York for a Lead Assembler.We are a high-volume metal fabrication facility with openings for multi-skilled individuals with prior experience.
