Job summary

REO Plastics, Inc is seeking a Lead Assembler to oversee assembly operations on the first shift. You will guide assemblers, ensure quality parts are produced efficiently, and report to the Lead Coordinator.

Responsibilities include start-up assistance, inventory processes, and maintaining safe working conditions while following 5S/Lean principles. Prior lead experience is preferred and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with line assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities.
• Willingness to take direction from Supervisors/Manager.
• Occasional operation of electric or hand pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and advise Assemblers in performing duties.
• Assist with morning start-ups for all assemblers.
• Conduct inventory counts and label packaging.
• Monitor assembly lines for efficient production of quality parts.
• Monitor line bids hourly for progress and quality.
• Maintain inventory documentation throughout assembly tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per procedures and rules.
• Read and comply with work instructions and checklists.
