REO Plastics, Inc is seeking a Lead Assembler to oversee assembly operations on the first shift. You will guide assemblers, ensure quality parts are produced efficiently, and report to the Lead Coordinator.

Responsibilities include start-up assistance, inventory processes, and maintaining safe working conditions while following 5S/Lean principles. Prior lead experience is preferred and benefits are offered.

• Occasional operation of electric or hand pallet jacks.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor line bids hourly for progress and quality.

• Read and comply with work instructions and checklists.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

The Lead Assembler will ensure that assemblers perform their tasks to produce quality parts in an efficient and safe manner. They will report directly to the Lead Coordinator.

Key Tasks:

• Coordinate and advise Assemblers in the performance of their duties.
• Assist with morning start-ups for all assemblers.
• Conduct Inventory counts and label packaging.
• Monitor all assigned assembly lines for efficient production of quality parts twice each hour.
• Monitor all assigned assembly line bids for each hour.
• Complete inventory documentation throughout he assembly task.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Attend Weekly Lead Assembler meetings

Minimum Requirements, Skills, and Experience:

• Experience with Line Assembly
• Attention to Detail
• Must have great interpersonal skills.
• Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to take direction from Supervisors/Manager
• Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack or hand jack occasionally.
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand, for eight hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous Lead experience (Preferred)
