Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Lead Assembler on 2nd shift in Waukesha, WI. The role focuses on wiring and assembling transformers, including lead preparation, welding, brazing, and mounting components.

The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments, with a base hourly rate of $24.45–$26.00 plus $2.50 shift premium. Work hours are 3pm–11pm, with potential overtime. Benefits include health coverage, paid holidays, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Position and shape leads for proper clearance within tank.
• Mig weld laminated leads to bus bar.
• Braise, weld, or crimp secondary leads to coil.
• Assemble and hook up dual voltage switches and accessories.
• Fit and cut wood braces for leads and bolt onto frame.
• Measure and cut leads to proper lengths and crimp terminals.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
