Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Paving Foreperson to manage asphalt paving crews at multiple job sites. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety, coordinate with grade crews, inspectors, and customers, and report to the Paving Superintendent.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 5–10 years of paving experience, with strong leadership, planning, and scheduling skills. CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 5–10 years of asphalt paving experience.
• Ability to supervise and lead crew members; understand plans, specs, and grades.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and CDL rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be the site safety champion and enforce company policies.
• Plan daily work, set targets, organize the site and coordinate schedules.
• Supervise and schedule crews; coordinate with grade crews, trucking, and traffic control.
• Coordinate quality control testing and manage job costs.
• Drive to various job sites; assist with general labor or equipment operation as needed.
• Maintain daily time and materials records and submit crew timecards.
