Job summary

Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems in California is seeking ASIC/FPGA Digital Design Engineers (Lead or Senior) to support digital subsystem development. Roles may focus on ASIC, FPGA, or mixed designs across space, aviation, and defense programs.

Responsibilities include HDL development, timing analysis, verification collaboration, and subsystem integration. Onsite in El Segundo or Huntington Beach with potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years FPGA/ASIC/SoC digital design experience or BS/MS with 7+ years.
• Experience with HDL development, simulation, debug, and synthesis.
• Strong digital design fundamentals and timing concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting digital systems and RTL design.
• Understanding of CDC concepts and timing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop HDL/RTL for ASIC, FPGA, and SoC systems.
• Compile, simulate, debug, and troubleshoot digital designs.
• Perform synthesis, constraints, timing closure and tool execution.
• Collaborate with verification teams for simulation and integration.
• Provide technical direction and support across projects.
