Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking entry level ASIC/FPGA design engineers in Mountain View, CA. You will develop digital ICs/SoCs for critical programs, collaborate across teams, and contribute to hardware verification and prototype validation.

Candidates should have a BS in engineering and experience with Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog, plus a willingness to obtain a US security clearance. This is an onsite role with relocation options.

Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical, CS, Math, Physics).
• Coursework, projects, or internship experience with ASIC/FPGA design or verification.
• Familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA/ASIC designs for design and verification teams.
• Implement designs using HDL coding and physical design realization.
• Integrate DSP IP and third-party IP as needed.
• Perform static timing, LEC, CDC, linting checks to meet schedule.
• Develop functional coverage models and code coverage in simulation.
• Create self-checking, reusable test benches using OOP concepts and UVM.
• Support FPGA-based prototyping and validation.
• Validate designs with hardware test setups as needed.
