Job summary

Muse Paintbar in Yonkers is seeking a part-time Art Instructor to lead on-stage painting sessions and create a fun, accessible experience for guests of all levels. You’ll guide attendees, manage timing, and ensure smooth service at the bar and during the class.

Responsibilities include prepping canvases, assisting with orders, greeting guests, and helping capture social media photos. Weekend and evening shifts are common, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on painting experience, acrylics preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related art field.
• Experience teaching or leading a group preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead painting sessions on stage, engaging guests and keeping time.
• Prep Master/master pieces and hang on stage before sessions.
• Greet guests, seat them, and manage food and drink needs at the bar.
• Print attendee lists and set up palettes before doors open.
• Capture photos during sessions for social media and assist with post-session cleanup.
