Job summary

Muse Paintbar is hiring an Art Instructor for part-time sessions across our Virginia studios. You’ll lead painting events on stage, guiding participants through steps while ensuring timely, fun experiences and smooth service with food and drinks.

Requirements include 2+ years painting experience (acrylics preferred), teaching or group leadership, and strong communication. Flexible evenings and weekends; must be 21+ and comfortable with studio tech.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on painting experience, acrylics preferred.
• Experience teaching or leading a group preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication, punctuality, and service instinct.
• Comfortable with mic and room tech (mics, printers, sound systems).
• Must be 21+ and travel up to 20% weekly.

Responsibilities

• Prep Muse signature paintings to guidelines and hang master above the stage.
• Break painting into steps using templates for first-timers.
• Lead session start to finish, keep room engaged and on time.
• Support sessions with step-by-step guidance and seating arrangements.
• Greet guests, hand out aprons, and manage food and drink needs.
• Capture photos during session for social media and events.
