Job summary

Armstrong World Industries seeks a seasoned professional to serve as the installation expert for AS systems, partnering with architects, contractors, and sales leaders to drive current and future projects.

Based ideally in Lancaster, PA or near a major airport, this full-time role requires travel more than 50% and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k) match, with opportunities to influence product development and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as installation expert for AS systems within the sales organization and Armstrong customers.
• Drive current and future sales by identifying customer needs and installation challenges.
• Participate in new product development and product improvement efforts as requested.
• Identify opportunities and solutions through customer relationships and site visits.
• Provide coaching and training on AS systems to field staff and contractors.
