Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. in Washington state is seeking an Architectural Plans Supervisor-WA to manage external architects and engineers, oversee plan development, and ensure timely approvals with municipalities. You’ll coordinate design changes, track schedules, and maintain construction documents for multiple projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2–4 years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency with CAD/drafting tools; travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two to four years of related experience preferred.
• Proven ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage external architects and engineers in developing new plans and products.
• Coordinate plan approvals with municipalities and ensure timely submittals.
• Draft and document correspondence with architects, engineers, and manufacturers about plan changes.
• Coordinate plan changes with Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Construction.
