D.R. Horton, Inc. in Washington state is seeking a Superintendent I to lead the construction of single-family homes.

You will coordinate schedules, supervise subcontractors, and ensure quality, safety, and timely completion within budget. You will conduct homeowner walkthroughs, manage post-close warranty items, and uphold company standards while maintaining open communication with sales and warranty teams. A high school diploma and field experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years related experience.
• Ability to read construction documents and schedules.
• Experience reading plans and building codes.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure quality product delivered on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors and evaluate their work for quality and compliance.
• Inspect workmanship and halt nonconforming work.
• Authorize payment to subcontractors after inspection and receipt of materials.
• Maintain a safe job site following OSHA requirements and company safety program.
• Manage customer experience through the construction process, including homeowner walkthroughs.
• Coordinate post-close warranty activities and supplier coordination.
• Communicate progress and issues to sales, warranty, and management teams.
